Located between Cevennes and Camargue at 15km from Anduze , in a small village close to Quissac (25km of Nimes), between Sommiéres and Anduze, the village of Orthoux is typical from the South of France, with its stone-built houses, its exceptional framework of greenery of vines, olive-trees, green oak woods and garrigue.

Three large charming gites fully restaured in the south of france style, and having all the desired comfort are waiting for you at the Mas du Gentilhomme. You will be able to rest in very quiete environnment, surrounded by 20ha of land, with our animals. You will appreciate the swimming pool and his jacuzzi, the ground of ball, fishing at 300m, the excursions : pedestrian, with horses or in montain bikes (available at the gite), will take you along through the garrigue to the discovery of the Gard

From our Bed and Breakfast “Lavande” (recognized 3 keys) you will have an amazing view on a typical village from the south : Sérignac, and you will enjoy the sun rise taht wil penetrat your bedroom. The bedroom can accept one to four persons, and is build up on two stairs with a 140cm double bed, a large shower and a TV on the upper level and two 90cm beds, fridge and toilet on the lower level. The entrance is completly independant.

The gite “Mimosa” (recognized 3 keys) is south-oriented, located in the inner courtyard of the mas. The courtyard is private for the gite and can be used as parking. Built with stones and lime, the gite has the charm of old houses of the south of France. This gite of 120 sqm, for 2 to 7 people has: a terrace with a beautiful view on the hills and vineyard, with teck garden furniture and a barbecue, a dining room (with TV) with american kitchen, a sitting room , 3 bedrooms (one of which has a shower room), 2 toilets, a large bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equiped with : dish-washer, cooker, oven, fridge and freezer, micro-wave, ... The washing maching is located on the firt floor.
The sitting room has a large fireplace and a desk.
The gite also have all equipments for baby : bed, chair...
You also will find a game room under the gite in a large cellar, where you will play : babyfoot, snooker, darts.

The gite Soleil (recognized 3 keys) is located at the back side of the Mas, and has a private field (3000sqm) with very old pin trees. It has a private parking, and a stoned barbecue.
This gite of 100 sqm for 2 to 6 persons has : a terrace with garden furniture, a kitchen, a large dining room / sitting room (with TV) , 3 bedrooms (one of which has a shower room), 2 toilets, a large bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equiped : dish-washer, freedge and freezer,cooker, oven, micro-wave, ...The washing machine is located in the bathroom.
The gite also have the equipment for baby : bed, chair...

The gite “Romarin” is located at the back of the Mas. This gite of 50 sqm for 2 adultes and a kid do have a beautifull terrace of 45 sqm, with a amazing view on the swimming pool and the garrigue, a dining room with a kitchen, a bathroom with separated toilet, a large bedroom with direct access to the terrace. The terrace is equiped with garden furnitures, two sun chairs, barbecue, and a pergola.
The kitchen is fully equiped with : cooker, fridge, oven, microwave, coffe machine,toaster,...
The washing machine is to be shared with the owners.
The bedroom is equiped with a 140 cm bed, a 90 cm bed and a baby bed.
The gîte and the equipments are new.

You will have access to the parking, the swimming pool and its jacuzzi, the terrasse to relax, the bowling ground , the montain-bikes... and in 2008 to a small kitchen with a terrace to prepare your lunch or dinner The fisherman will enjoy the river very close by.

We are open the full year and the animals are accepted.
